Erm... not sure if this is even okay to put up =.= So I got lazy and decided to use what I've already rendered... turns out that all my renders are completely random and I couldn't make anything other than Fisheye Placebo fanart (again) ._. Worked on it in class and TRIED to make it look at least decent? Dunno @A@

This is a fanart of `yuumei's original drawings. I did not draw/paint anything here.
I'm not accusing you of stealing, if that's what you meant in the journal ^_^' just saying that if you have the means to ask an artist for the permission to edit his/her pictures, you should probably do it, just as a sign of respect? someone logged into this community just like you is a LOT easier to approach than a popular musician or the creator of an anime or something like that. it's not that much of a big deal since you did give credit to yuumei anyway, I was just curious.
well then, srry for jumping to conclusions. most pple who approach me with tht question tend to be very suspicious. no, i didnt ask her. i assumed tht if shes aware tht there are fan groups of her work, then she wouldnt mind fanart.
well, normally fanart is when people draw her characters in their own styles.. I'm pretty sure she likes/loves it, as almost all artists do! I'm not sure if this falls under the category of fanart though, because technically you used an image that she has the full rights to without asking her for permission and altered it.. I'm not sure if she minds or not.. but I don't think she would really care because people steal her stuff all the time and you did credit her. still though, there is a difference between drawing a character belonging to someone and changing a picture belonging to someone. :>
fanart is wen pple alter other's characters in their own way. sadly not everyone can draw beautifully. limiting the creation of fanart to drawings only is very narrow-minded, dont u think?
but yuumei has the full /rights/ to her picture. you gotta admit that just changing it without her permission is kinda wrong. it's not really that bad I guess because you credited her and tbh I don't really think she would mind either, at least not much. it's a pretty edit too. no, I don't think it's narrow-minded. I wasn't just talking about drawing either. writing or making crafts etc. is also a way of fanart, there are endless possibilities... never mind though.
"well, normally fanart is when people draw her characters in their own styles..", "you used an image that she has the full rights to without asking her for permission and altered it.. " is what u said rofl, are u taking tht back now? shouldve said tht in the first place
no this is not an edit. this is a wallpaper, if u bothered to look at the category listing.
